Jan B. Vornhagen

Postdoctoral Researcher

Jan is a PX researcher and Meta-scientist. In his player experience work, he focuses on what makes videogame experiences empowering and appreciated using an Empirical Aesthetic Lense. His meta-scientific work is primarily focused on studying the statistical methods and theoretical frameworks used by HCI scholars to create robust knowledge and new artifacts. He is also an open science advocate and active in the ReproducibiliTea community

He holds a PhD from ITU Copenhagen, as well as an MSC and BSC in Psychology from the University of Vienna.
